Clark Ramsey was born and raised in Harbor Beach, Michigan -- a small harbor town nestled along the shores of Lake Huron in Michigan's Thumb. Growing up in a family business, Clark quickly learned the habit of hard work and drive. With access to the family's camcorder at the age of 10, Clark fell in love with the world of videography and technology. Later, his baritone voice led him into announcing, with his first job in radio at the age of 17. His voice can also be heard at Little Caesar’s Arena for the Detroit Red Wings.

During his time at Michigan State University and earning a Bachelor's of Arts in Telecommunication, Information Study & Media with a specialization in Television, Radio & Cinema, Clark had the honor of portraying the world's most famous mascot, Sparty. He was able to master his craft and see the sports world first-hand on some of the nation's largest stages, including Final Fours and EA Sports video game covers.

Upon graduation, Clark Ramsey became the evening news anchor for a duo of stations, one being 50,000 watt FM with a diameter of nearly 140 miles. As part of his efforts, Clark brought video into the world of radio and WLEW earned the Associated Press of Michigan's Station of the Year award in 2011. During this time, he began his own company, Clark Ramsey Productions, producing multimedia and marketing packages for governmental agencies and corporations across the Midwest.

In 2011, Clark Ramsey founded the WLEW Sports Network, taking high school sports broadcasts to a new level. Covering the area's biggest games in football and basketball, he and his crew expanded the games' coverage to include sideline reports and weekly radio shows, The Strong Side and The Baseline. Since taking the reins for sports broadcasting at WLEW, audio has advanced from landline phones to streaming online in crystal-clear quality. Social media and podcasts also became a large resource for its audience, with live-stats, photos and videos from the game. Clark has called five state championship games.

A Clark Ramsey Productions contract with Scheurer Health in 2015 led to full-time employment with Clark's current role as Director of Marketing, Communications & Business Development, working with every corner of the organization. He has overseen and driven a system-wide re-branding and name change, website overhaul, magazine creation, leadership training, social media implementation, product design, media relations and internal/external communications.

In his spare time, Clark is involved in a variety of non-profit and civic organizations, including being the past president of the Rotary Club of Pigeon, MI. He produces and hosts The Harbor Beach Gameshow Series, a fundraising vehicle for multiple local organizations. As a proud MSU alum, Clark is Vice President of the local alumni chapter in Huron County, MI.

There is much more to the story of Clark Ramsey, but we'll leave that for another time.
